Good morning. It’s a nice morning out here on Pensacola Beach. The temp is only 66 degrees. The winds are out of the NE @ 8-10 mph causing for semi-choppy conditions. That means the surf is only shin high and weak. There is swell out there, the wind needs to get more south in it. Surf is on deck for this week! Yahoo! We will update at midday.
Good morning! It is a beautiful day out here on Pensacola Beach. The workers are starting to fence off the beach for that festival next weekend. So, good luck surfing the pier for the next week. There is a little wave that is coming through in the thigh high sometimes hip range. At the pier, it didn’t really go anywhere and the wave that did break was very short. The little wave coming in right beside the pier is only shin maaaaaaybe knee high. The winds are light offshore causing for glassy conditions. We will have a report for you later today.
Good afternoon! It is drop-dead gorgeous out here on Pensacola Beach. The clouds are off in the distance leaving blue skies unblemished and the water is crystal clear. Even the temperature has come down as there isn’t as much humidity in the air since we haven’t had copious amounts of rainfall in the past couple of days. The surf is still shin to knee high breaking just off of the beach. It is SUP-able and would be a great day to teach someone how to surf. The wind is ESE at 7-8 mph causing for breezy, nice conditions at the beach. The crowds are gone and today would be a great day to find your own spot on the beach and just enjoy the paradise we live in! Have a great day! I will report back to you later.
Good afternoon. The surf is running solid knee high. I did see a couple of bigger sets come through that were pushing thigh high. It has the best form that I have seen over the last couple of days. Looks like it could be fun on a big board. The winds are blowing out of the SW at 6-7 mph causing for semi choppy conditions. It’s a great day to take out a SUP (stand up paddleboard.) or a big longboard. It would also be a perfect day to teach a kid how to surf. We will give you another report first thing tomorrow morning. Have a great Wednesday!
Good morning! It is beautiful out here on Pensacola Beach. It feels like school is in the air! The traffic patterns to and from the beach are more business than out of state tags. There aren’t so many people in bikinis and swim trunks waiting to cross at the only stoplight on the beach. It’s kind of sad to see summer winding down. The Gulf is trying to push some fun our way. We have small shin to knee high surf breaking at the pier. I even saw a thigh set come through. There is something to log on or teach a someone how to surf. The winds are out of the West at 6-7 mph causing for a slight chop on the surface but that wind is pushing some little swell through. The tide will be moving out all day. We will report back to you this afternoon!
Good morning! The surf is shin to knee with thigh sets out here on Pensacola Beach. The wind is 11-12 out of the W causing for choppy conditions . It is rideable, but it is disorganized. High tide will peak out at 7:39 this morning. So, we will have an outgoing tide all of the day. Looks like there are thunderstorms all around the beach. They are a ways off but I saw some serious lightning in those storm…yikes! We will have a report for you later today!
Good afternoon! It is so pretty out here on Pensacola Beach! Today is great day to standup paddleboard or teach a kid to surf. Surf is ankle shin. The pier maybe had a knee peak. The winds are out of the SW at 5-7 mph causing for a slight chop in the Gulf of Mexico. The air temp is 91 degrees. Due to technical difficulties we don’t have video for this report. We will be in action tomorrow with our full report. Have a great Sunday!
Good morning! It is a beautiful morning on Pensacola Beach! The air is cool and not very humid. I saw the stars and the morning sky clear for the first time in a while. However, the surf is flat. There are little lines coming through. It could bump up to a small longboard wave. You can definitely SUP it this morning as it is nice and smooth on the Gulf of Mexico this morning. The wind is NE at 4-6 mph causing for glassy, cool conditions. Have a great Sunday, and we will update later today.
Good morning. It’s a pretty morning out here at Pensacola Beach. The surf is running shin to knee high. You really have to wait for those sets to come through though. There may a little bit bigger of a peak ever so often if you are lucky. I checked the Cross, the Pier, and 18th this morning. I would say 18th was the most consistent. The wind is blowing out of the West at 5-6 mph causing for a small bump on the surface and the air temperature is 83 degrees. We will give you another update at midday.
Good morning! It is a beautiful day out here on Pensacola Beach. It is hot and humid, already 93 degrees out here. Whew! The rain clouds look like they are building up for our regular afternoon showers. The surf isn’t building up to anything. It is crystal clear, and there are shin high bumps breaking at the Cross. The Pensacola Beach Gulf Pier had the biggest waves coming in. They were knee high if you wait on them. If you are super desperate to get wet and go surf, I would go to the pier. You can definitely flat water SUP (standup paddleboard). The SW wind blowing at 5-6 mph is putting just a little surface chop on the Gulf of Mexico. I will have you a report later this afternoon. Have a good day!
